A power attenuator reduces dynamic depth to some degree. There is some debate about how significantly an attenuator flattens the dynamic depth. Guitar speakers sound best when pushed hard. Below about 1 watt, guitar speakers sound especially thin and fizzy. You use a conventional cab, putting the attenuator between the amp’s output transformer the amp’s Spk Out jack and the cab. If you drive watts worth of speakers with 60 mW, it will sound thin and fizzy. This is not the fault of the power attenuator; the speakers aren’t designed to respond correctly with such low wattage. Try reducing your cab wattage capacity when attenuating down to the milliwatt TV level. You need to match the impedance of the amp, attenuator, and cab.

But the total current draw of your amp is 80 amps, If it draws enough to fry the main power fuse its close to frying your amp fuses as well. We would prefer to use an 80 A ANL type fuse in-line to the battery. This means that the amp bridges internally. Keep in mind that the PDX amps are super efficient and as such do not draw as much current provided your charging system albeit your alternator is working properly. If voltage were to drop too low then the amp will over compensate by drawing more current which is NOT a good thing if that were to happen.

A Start or Run Capacitor can be combined into one capacitor called a Dual Capacitor with three leads, but can be split between two separate capacitors.

The Start Capacitor gives a fan motor the torque it needs to start spinning then stops; while the Run capacitor stays on giving the motor extra torque when needed. If the Start Capacitor fails the motor will most likely not turn on. If a Run capacitor goes bad then a motor can turn on but the running amperage will be higher than normal causing the motor to run hot and have a short life expectancy.

I, personally, am a bit leery of method. The output of the swell capacitor is a fairly high impedance node. From the back of the organ: Locate the silver box on top of the AO amplifier that houses the Expression control electronics. It is easily identified as an arm connects the expression pedal to the box, and there is an RCA jack located on one side of the box. We’re going to turn this input to a dedicated output. Remove the 4 flathead screws that hold the box cover on.

These screws are in the sides of the expression pedal box, not on the bottom. Look at the inside of the RCA connector. Cut the lead that connects this cap to the RCA plug. Should I be concerned about the inrush current when connecting portable bank into stationary bank while battery charges are equalizing. Can a resistor be added to cable to slow current while banks are equalizing.

If so where in connection and what value would you recommend. The two battery packs you have are of different capacity, so you are creating a situation where batteries are going to get overcharged. I would recommend charging them separately. My question is can I use 1 battery for my outboard for a 12 volt starting and charging system without disconnecting the 2 batteries.
